I photographed this panoramic image of the Johannesburg skyline in winter (June) 2008 from the top of a building during sunset.
It is stitched together of 21 high resolution photographs so the quality of it is extremely high and perfect for large prints. It has been printed
several times on canvas at 200cm (2m) by 50cm (0.5m) and it is easy to appreciate at that size. My favourite part about the image is that
the actual city appears as a silhouette which makes it seem peaceful and safe and I really like that because it hides some of the bad that JHB
has sadly become known for. I have a print of this on my office wall and I look at it with hope that soon this will be the city that everyone
around the world will want to visit.
The image has been sold through stock agencies over the last year and the interest I have had in it has been really great so I have
decided to drop it from stock image companies and rather offer it directly so that I can charge less for it and hopefully get it to the
people that will appreciate it. Payment can be made via PayPal. Once your payment has been made and I
receive confirmation on my account, then I will send you a direct download link to the high resolution file (this could take up to 48 hours)
so that
you can download and print the file any size that you like. This price is ONLY FOR PRIVATE / PERSONAL USAGE once off
so if you would like to use it for any other purpose (commerical, reproduction, editorial, ..) please CONTACT ME first to discuss.
